CITGO PREMIUM GEAR OILS (MP)

Qualities: CITGO Premium Gear Oils (MP) are blended to meet the multigrade viscosity requirements described in SAE J306 recommended practice. These gear lubricants are formulated with naturally high VI, solvent-refined base oils and thus do not require viscosity index improvers to meet multigrade viscometric properties. Because these lubricants do not contain VI improvers, they will maintain their visometric properties throughout their useful life and will not lose viscosity through shear.

Viscosity Grades Available:

• ß SAE 80W-90 grade for use at ambient temperatures down to -15 degrees F.
• ß SAE 85W-140 grade for use at ambient temperatures down to +10 degrees F.

CITGO TRANSGARD^® ATF, DEXRON^®-III\MERCON^®

Description: CITGO TRANSGARD^® ATF, DEXRON^®-III\MERCON^® is an automatic transmission fluid designed for electronically-controlled transmissions.

Qualities: Superior cold temperature performance characteristics. Wide range of seal compatibility. Excellent wear protection. Superior frictional characteristics with excellent friction retention, and smooth shifting. Fortified against rust and corrosion. Excellent oxidation resistance. CITGO TRANSGARD^® TRACTOR HYDRAULIC FLUIDS

• Lubricate the transmission, differential and final drive gears.
• Act as a power steering, power take-off and implement drive fluid.
• Provide a medium with the correct friction and heat transfer characteristics for proper operation of the tractor wet brakes and power take-off unit.

• Superior extreme pressure (EP) and antiwear performance protects tractor transmissions, axles and hydraulic pumps. The frictional characteristics are designed to minimize “chatter” while permitting the wet brakes to hold properly. This frictional balance also provides smooth engagement of the power take-off clutch.

CITGO PREMIUM LITHIUM E.P. GREASES

Description: CITGO Premium Lithium E.P. Greases are premium quality, lithium-12 greases containing extreme pressure, antiwear, antioxidant and anticorrosion additives. These greases are formulated with high quality base stocks. They do not contain molybdenum disulfide (moly).

Benefits: The smooth, buttery texture of the grease in conjunction with high quality mineral oil provides excellent pumpability over a wide temperature range. The extreme pressure agent provides the protection required to handle severe conditions characterized by high shock loads. Oxidation and corrosion inhibitors, and a high quality soap yield a product with excellent shear stability, load carrying properties, corrosion resistance and oxidation stability. The combination of these properties makes CITGO Premium Lithium E.P. Greases extremely versatile, thereby reducing the number of products required. Substantial reductions in storage and handling costs are possible with these universal products, while at the same time reducing potential of costly equipment failures associated with misapplication of product. The service temperature range of these greases is 5 degrees F to 250 degrees F, with peak intermittent temperatures up to 300 degrees F.

CITGO A/W HYDRAULIC OILS

Qualities: CITGO A/W Hydraulic Oils are made from top quality base stocks and contain all the necessary additive components to offer trouble-free service in high-pressure, high-output industrial hydraulic circuits. CITGO A/W Hydraulic Oils have these outstanding properties:

• CITGO A/W Hydraulic Oils utilize the latest in thermally stable zinc-type additives. This virtually eliminates the formation of heat-related sludging in sensitive electro-hydraulic servos associated with conventional zinc-type oils. These oils are wholly suitable for N/C machine tools and other high-output equipment where sustained heat is prevalent.
• These oils exhibit superior hydrolytic stability in the presence of water and will not contribute to either the formation of metal-etching acids or corrosive reactants.
• CITGO A/W Hydraulic Oils are inhibited against rusting in both fresh and sea water and pass both A and B Sequences of the ASTM D 665 Turbine Oil Rust Test.
• These oils offer the optimum in antiwear protection to pumps, motors, valves, and other hydraulic circuit components.
• CITGO A/W Hydraulic Oils resist foaming and will not foster abnormal air entrainment in properly designed hydraulic circuits. The oils also readily and rapidly separate water permitting sump drain-off of the contaminating water.
